My Kids, Muck Boots, And The Winter Snow

February 8th, 2010

The kids like playing outside in the winter months, particularly whenever there is ten feet of snow.  Nevertheless, I don’t know any mom that has had a simple time locating high quality winter boots for their own little ones.  When your kids always have fun outdoors in the snow and mud like mine do, keeping them warm and dried out could be practically impossible!  Usually by the time my kids wander back inside, their little toes are usually frozen solid.  However this will never happen anymore, not since they began putting on Muck Boots.

Now, the children may run outdoors for long periods of time and really get down to business creating their snow forts.  Practically nothing could be more fun than burrowing a huge hole in the edge of a yard snowbank and disappearing on the inside.  I have by no means been inside a true igloo, when they make the fort big enough for me then I will not avoid climbing within to check it out!  Digging a hole inside a snowbank normally takes time, however, and staying warm long enough to get the job done has usually become a challenge.  Muck Boots are thermal insulated to help keep the tiny toes toasty for as long as it requires in order to finish the task.

Muck Boots actually contain a totally solid rubber construction, making these 100% watertight.  Though I’ve heard this claim before about different boots I have bought for the children, I’ve never discovered it to be genuine before.  I didn’t imagine this was even likely with a childrens boot, however Muck Boots genuinely solves the challenge of getting a watertight boot.  And, whenever my children remove their Muck Boots (yes, they are able to get this sort off all by themselves), their toes continue to be comfortable and toasty inside—their feet are definitely the last thing to get cold now!  The stretch-fit topline binding fits snugly on the calf, stopping snow from piling on the inside, still allowing total freedom of mobility during any igloo building, climbing, or running that may take place.

Among the list of great issues concerning the Muck Boots for kids is they not just function fantastic in the freezing and snowy circumstances, but whenever spring arrives and all that gorgeous snow turns the yard in to a massive mud pit, these exact same boots work like a charm.  They will keep the mud and wet out beautifully, and they are super simple to clean up, all I have to do is hose them off.  Once more, that sound rubber design makes them the perfect preference for just about any outdoor situations.

I will not go back to buying the inexpensive, plain looking rubber boots for my children ever again.  I have ultimately discovered some boots which i can trust to help keep them comfortable and dried out when they have fun outside.  There are many Muck Boots kids’ styles to choose from, depending on what you need.  Youngsters should be playing outside more, in any case, and I’m sure that my children will be playing outdoors this winter season more than ever, ever since they keep warm and dry longer.  Muck Boots makes this possible!
