Onkyo’s Brand New Receivers

October 16th, 2009

I recently bought the Onkyo TX-SR307 receiver and found it a fairly economical machine for its capabilities. With the hottest Audyssey technologies, 3 HDMI inputs and fantastic audio technology, this receiver is wonderful for my bedroom though it does not deal with HDMI audio signals! The Onkyo TX-SR307 serves up no more than HDMI pass-through switching on its HDMI input ports. As a result, if you are scanning for a machine that supports HDMI audio or the most modern HD audio formats for Blu-ray, this Onkyo TX-SR307 is definitely not what you would be looking for!

However, its 2 older brothers turn up packed with features!

The Onkyo TX-SR507 supports all blu-ray decoders, that is to say the Dolby decoders. It in addition has 4 HDMI inputs which confer HDMI bitstream decoding for best quality and various digital sound processing choices. Do the Onkyo TX-SR507 justice by ensuring that you only couple good quality justified speakers with it. Anything else clearly would not make the cut!

Looking at the Onkyo TX-SR607, you most likely can guess that this machine has once more raised the standard with HDMI inputs for up to 6 connections. It even upconverts to 1080i.

My pal bought the Onkyo TX-SR607 a couple of days back and finds the sound quality to be alot superior than equivalent-priced mid-range receivers. Even with low range bookshelf speakers, this machine shines like never before!
